Cari giovani, - ha scritto papa Francesco in occasione della XXXII GMG – avete bisogno della saggezza e della visione degli anziani. [...] Vi diranno cose che appassioneranno la vostra mente e commuoveranno i vostri cuori”.Ci avviciniamo ormai al Natale, Gesù nasce nelle nostre famiglie; quest'anno, nel clima particolare che viviamo, può essere per i giovani l'occasione di ricevere un dono speciale. Anche a causa della pandemia, sono tanti gli anziani che vivono soli. Con ciascuno di loro si possono costruire legami: sarà un modo per scoprire un tesoro! Facendo seguito al successo della campagna “Ogni anziano è tuo nonno”, con la quale avevamo raccolto gli abbracci virtuali che tanti giovani hanno inviato ai loro nonni e ai nonni d’elezione, il Dicastero per i Laici, la Famiglia e la Vita invita ora i ragazzi di tutto il mondo a dare la parola agli anziani per ricevere da loro un dono di saggezza, #aGiftOfWisdom. Oggi, nel difficile clima di un Natale ancora avvolto dalla pandemia, proponiamo ai giovani di postare sui social un ricordo, un consiglio, un dono di saggezza di unodegli anziani con cui in questi mesi hanno instaurato un legame. Purtroppo, in molti casi, l’incontro non può che avvenire a distanza, nel rispetto delle norme sanitarie vigenti, con videochiamate, telefonate, messaggi. Per partecipare alla campagna, è possibile postare sui social le parole dei nonni e degli anziani, utilizzando l’hashtag #aGiftOfWisdom. I post più significativi saranno diffusi sui social del Dicastero per i Laici, la Famiglia e la Vita @laityfamilylife.

À Noël, la paroleestaux grands-parents et aux personnes âgées

Ils vous diront des choses qui passionneront votre esprit et toucheront votre cœur ». Nous nous approchons maintenant de Noël, Jésus naît dans nos familles ; cette année, dans le climat particulier dans lequel nous vivons, cela peut être l’occasion pour les jeunes de recevoir un don spécial. En raison de la pandémie, de nombreuses personnes âgées vivent seules. Avec chacun d'entre eux, nous pouvons construire des liens : ce sera une façon de découvrir un trésor !En faisant suite au succès de la campagne Les personnes âgées sont tes grands-parents, grâce à laquelle nous avions permis à tant de jeunes de pouvoir serrer dans leurs bras virtuellement leurs grands-parents et les grands-parents de leur choix, le Dicastère pour les Laïcs, la Famille et la Vie invite désormais les jeunes du monde entier à donner la parole aux personnes âgées pour recevoir d'elles un don de sagesse, #aGiftOfWisdom.Aujourd'hui, dans le climat difficile d'un Noël encore empreint de pandémie, nous proposons aux jeunes de publier sur les réseaux sociaux un souvenir, un conseil, un don de sagesse d'une des personnes âgées avec laquelle ils ont établi un lien au cours des derniers mois.Malheureusement, dans de nombreux cas, la rencontre ne peut avoir lieu qu'à distance, dans le respect de la réglementation sanitaire en vigueur, avec des appels vidéo, des appels téléphoniques, des messages. Pour participer à la campagne, vous pouvez publier sur les réseaux sociaux les paroles des grands-parents et des personnes âgées, en utilisant l’hashtag #aGiftOfWisdomLes publications les plus pertinentes seront diffusées sur les réseaux sociaux du Dicastère pour les Laïcs, la Famille et la Vie @laityfamilylife.Las entradas más significativas serán publicadas en las redes sociales del Dicasterio para los Laicos, la Familia y la Vida @laityfamilylife.

A Gift of WisdomAt Christmas, let’s listen to grandparents and the elderly
“Dear young people,” wrote Pope Francis on the occasion of the 32nd World Youth Day, “you need the wisdom and the vision of the elderly. [...] They will speak to you of things that can thrill your minds and fill your hearts”. We are approaching Christmas, when Jesus is born within our families. This year, in the particular climate in which we are living, there is an opportunity for young people to receive a special gift. Because of the pandemic, there are more elderly people who live alone. We can create bonds with each of them – this is a treasure waiting to be discovered!Following the success of our campaign: “The elderly are your grandparents”, in which we collected virtual hugs sent by many young people to both their own grandparents and to “adopted grandparents,” the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life now invites boys and girls from all over the world to send a message to the elderly and to receive in return the gift of their wisdom, #aGiftOfWisdom. Today, in the difficult circumstances of a Christmas still overshadowed by the pandemic, we are proposing that young people post on social media a memory, a piece of advice, or a “gift of wisdom” they have received from one of the elderly people with whom they have formed a bond in recent months. Unfortunately, in many cases, because of the health regulations in force, visiting can only take place remotely, via telephone, videocalls, and messaging. But it is possible to participate in this campaign by posting the wise words of grandparents and the elderly on social media using the hashtag #aGiftOfWisdom.
